Information

Access Fee

Is divided evenly across the first three invoices of the Water Year (1 July to 30 June).

Water Usage Above Access Fee Allowance Fee

Is levied in the final invoice of the Water Year.

Casual Users Access Fee

Ensures that non-Delivery Entitlement holders also contribute to funding the cost of operating and maintaining WMI’s infrastructure.

Asset Replacement Fund Fee

Is divided equally over the four invoices issued for the water year.

Joint Venture Repayment Fee (Coomealla)

Is divided equally over the four invoices issued for the water year.

Infrastructure Loan Repayment Fee (Buronga)

Is divided equally over the four invoices issued for the water year.

Variable Government Charge / Fixed Government Charge

Pass-through charges levied by the NSW Government. The Fixed Government Charge is divided over the four invoices issued for the water year.

Membership Levies Fee

Covers WMI’s membership fees payable to the NSW Irrigators’ Council and the National Irrigators’ Council.

Additional Water Fee – Fee For Service

Water allocation is allocated to you based on your Water Entitlements (usually in proportion to the volume allocated by the NSW Government to WMI’s water access licences) and you can buy more water allocation in the market if you wish. If, however, you order or take additional water in excess of the volume in your water allocation account, you must pay this fee for service for each ML of additional water you order or take.
